Newsletter
SHRUB, the group's twice yearly Newsletter, is published in the Spring and Autumn and is filled with interesting articles about aspects of Sandy life in former times. We also publish regular updates about the group's activities and where possible, we announce details of forthcoming events, publications and exhibitions. These dates, along with more details, can be found in our Diary section
Many of the items contained in the Newsletter are written by our members and every story submitted makes an excellent read. If you would like to see your recollections of Sandy life as experienced by you or your family, then please email us your copy to:
editor@sandy-history.org.uk
All contributions are welcome, large or small and everything we receive gets published (sometimes we get more that enough for one edition and then any excess material is carried forward to the next edition.
Copy date deadlines are usually mid April and mid October, so get scribbling with your item for publication!
Please note however, that we are only able to receive items for publication, which are in a email, Word Document (or Open Office file, saved as a.doc), or sent to us on a CD ROM. Exceptionally we will also accept items contained on 3.5" Floppy Disks - which will usually preclude the use of images, as they are often far too big to fit on a floppy. Items sent to us in hrd copy only cannot now be accepted, as it will involve substantial re-typing and we do not have sufficient resource to do this. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.
